A new year
Hello
I was so inspired by Adam's additions to his blog, that I decided I do like writing things down in here and sharing some fun moments.
I moved in a week ago yesterday to my new dorm: Goodwin-Kirk (although we are more Goodwin than Kirk). I have three roommates: Laura Bonney and the other Megan and Laura. If we were all math majors I'm sure we'd get a kick out of calling ourselves Megan^squared, Laura^squared...but they are all pharmacy so that joke probably won't work. :)
We are at the end of the hall, meaning we have a corner room, meaning we lose about 3 ft in width and 2 ft in length of the rooms - not cool. But we manage I guess.
My first week of classes went well. It will be a hard semester, but I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm taking ACTS 140, STAT 131, MATH 80, BLAW 60, ECON 173.
Last week we did a lot for our InterVarsity New Student Outreach 'campaign'. Monday we made posters, Tuesday we handed out popsicles to the Freshman dorms because they don't have air-conditioning and also to invite them to large group, Wednesday we had large group outside on the lawn (God blessed the evening and also held off the rain). Lots of people came, so that's a good sign, and now we'll just have to wait and see if they show up as regulars. Oh, speaking of, Laura and I are planning to lead a bible study, but we don't know what book/topic we're doing yet, so pray over that.
I did club volleyball last year and it was really fun, but this year I think I'm just going to play intermerals with some girls from the club team.
Here's a fun new waste of time: SuDoku puzzles. They are "all the rage" in Japan. I think they're fun. The difficulty is somewhere between the crossword and wonderword :)
I bought a little plant before I came (because I successfully killed the one from last year), a little bamboo guy, he's doing well.
It's my brother's birthday today! Happy 16th John!
That's about all I have for now.
- Until next time

Hey there! I have a question for you: What Josh Groban CD do you have? What's the best one to get for a beginning Josh Groban fan? I saw Troy again and was inspired to tears by his "Remember" song. *sigh* What a voice.

I'd like to point out that Ali was dissapointed you wern't posting, so she deserves some credit as well...also, Ali, i recommend any Josh Groban CD, his Closer CD contains the famous "You Raise Me Up" and my personal fav "when you say you love me", so i'd definitly recomend the Closer CD, but that's me. Way to update Megan, it's cool to see what you're up to, way to go! and for the record i forgot my spider plant at home :(

Hi Ali
I would also recommend his second album, Closer. My favorites are Remember When it Rained and Si Volvieras A Mi
