Fall Break was fun - I went up to the land of 10,000 lakes to spend some time with family. It was my Grandparents' 50th Anniversery on Saturday, so we went out to dinner and looked though their wedding album, etc. 50 years is a long time, and so rare in today's society, it really is something to be celebrated! I also got to go shopping - I was suprisingly successful! Monday I studied the day away (the rest of the house was at school or work). Tuesday, I left after lunch.
I am frustrated with school right now and I feel like I don't have any time during which I don't have to do anything. Every bit of time not in class I feel obligated to be studying (legitimately because I am not prepared for my classes yet, let alone tests). Like right after I am done with this I'll probably go to the library for the rest of the day until InterVarsity. I feel like I need a break - which is ironic because I just had Fall Break. However mentally that didn't give me a break, I am still consumed by my Acts Sci work and Business Law (evil class, don't ever take it). I wish I could grasp the acts sci stuff easier, but I don't. I am looking forward to the end of the semester, just to be done with some of these classes. I don't think I am meant to be a student for 8 years or whatever those really ambitious people who become doctors do :). I commend those who can do that.
Well, I apologize that I sound really depressing - it's not all that bad. I have great roommates and a nice room (although occasionally this semester they shut off our water for no reason). Other things are going well - InterVarsity and such. Okay here's a story (per Lindsey):
I went to a corn maze! I decided to embrace my Iowan residency and take a journey through the corn. We got there at sunset, so most of the maze was in the pitch black :) which I think is the best way to enjoy it. It wasn't haunted (where they put college kids out in the corn who jump out and scare you, etc) but I was able to freak myself out - it felt like the movie Signs, where there are aliens in the corn! Anyways, so that was fun, my facebook picture is from that. Isn't that so funny, now when we see funny/cute pictures we're like "oh, that's a facebook!"

We're stuck in the corn maze!
This weeekend is Deeper-er, InterVarsity's fall conference. (Which, if Michael Derrick were involved with IV on his campus, he'd be coming too) It should be a fun time.
