Greetings from Drake

It's been awhile

Hi.

It's been awhile since I posted last. Let's see, Spring Break came and went. It was hard to come back to Drake and my little 1/2 dorm room, but there's not many weeks left before summer. Speaking of summer, I've been looking for a job around Woodbury somewhere. Nothing too serious, I just need a place to spend some time and make some money. Books are expensive! Hopefully one of the banks will hire me as a teller - that will be beneficial to the resume, however I'll take most anything. Because hopefully next summer I will have an internship at St. Paul Traveler's, and then another summer of interning, and then I'm graduated! Oh, if it would only go that fast. I am probably crazy to think that because then I work.
Early next week I make decisions about next year: classes, rooms, etc. But I can't think about that right now, I have a confusing calculus problem in front of me. It's just sitting there saying "haha, I can't be solved!" That's enough, I'm going to bed and then tomorrow morning I'll wake up and tackle it with fresh eyes.

Goin to sleep :)

Wednesday, March 16

Oh what a beautiful morning...

Hello everyone! It's gorgeous outside! Although it's supposed to get rainy and cold again this weekend - as usual. All my midterms are over now, so I've got nothing to do for a few days here. Ah well, tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day (yea for being Irish!!) then just Friday, and then Saturday is the wedding and I get to go home for a week!!! oh I'm excited.

By the way: Today is Lindsey Hansen's 19th Birthday! Wahoo!

Okay - I'm off to grab dinner quick and then play drums for InterVarsity. Should be a fun time. Bye for now!

Saturday!

Yea! It's Saturday! Today is my first free Saturday of the semester and I am loving it! It's been quite a productive day: walgreens, bell center, homework, shower, food, wowswers :) Ha, okay its not that big of a deal, but alas. Oh goodness, another thing - so many people are getting married! I can hardly believe it.

Sunday, March 6

Well, this weekend has sure kept me busy. Friday I studied most of the day away, and then went to dinner and shopping with Amy (still haven't found any shoes to wear to the wedding...hmm). Saturday I woke up early and traveled to Iowa State for our club volleyball tournament. I got to see Michael Derrick for a little while and see his dorm and where he spends his days. After seeing his little room, which is probably 2/3 the size of mine and I'm being generous, I am grateful I have enough room to complain about living on my 'side' because he and his roommate have to live on top of each other. Well after losing terribly during pool play - we were home by 3. Sunday brought church and lunch and more studying and then dinner and bible study. It was super nice out today, around 70 degrees, and tonight it thunderstormed. There was lots of lightning. I shut off all the lights and watched it for awhile - lightning makes me smile. And now I am on here, typing this. I really should be doing my homework. I need to get motivated: Okay Meg, here we go - let's study! There that should do it.
